What To Expect

Four Paws Inn Dog Daycamp is designed to create stability and routine for your dog while not only ensuring physical needs are met, but their mental ones as well. We teach and reinforce proper canine behavior to ensure our pack maintains a calm and respectful energy while providing enrichment in a fun and active environment. In return, your dog returns home with a smile on its face and an exercised mind.

A connection to nature and a confident relationship with new environments is highly important for your dog’s mental health, which is why we incorporate field trips to NJ State Parks and trails, beaches, and various external stimuli your dog may not be exposed to on a daily basis.

How To Get Started:

  1. Fill Out Our Meet & Greet Form: Start by filling out our convenient Meet & Greet form or by contacting us directly. This form helps us get to know your pet’s unique needs and preferences.
  2. Schedule A Day To Meet: Once we receive your Meet & Greet form, we’ll schedule a day to meet you and your dog. This gives us the opportunity to observe their temperament, personality and any questions or concerns you may have.
  3. Book An Evaluation Day: After the Meet & Greet, you may book your dog an evaluation day! This is where we assess your dog’s socialization skills, any existing behavioral training and leash manners in a pack setting.
  4. Book As Many Days As You’d Like: Once your dog concludes their first day, you are free to book them as many days as you please! Safety is our number one priority while your family member is under our care. We aim to keep our pack size to where each dog can receive the same level of care and attention. Our dog park is under constant supervision by our professionally certified staff, allowing for safe free-play with four legged friends. All dogs can engage in rounds of fetch and chase, interactive play with our staff, and carefree play at their own will.

With a deep understanding of dog psychology and their needs for achieving a calm, balanced demeanor, we are here to make your pet parenting life a breeze. Pre Camp Checklist

Before your dog attends their first day at camp, we ask that you prep your pup with the following. Feel free to pack them a tote bag or backpack with their belongings!

  • Collar with tags

  • Leash, harness, gentle leader

  • Poop bags

  • Lunch if necessary

Monday – Friday:

  • Full Day: 8AM – 3PM
  • Half Day: 8AM – 11AM

To ensure social skills and behaviors stay consistent, we would like to see your dog regularly. Rates are subject to change if it has been over 3 weeks since we have last seen your dog.

Vaccinations

At Four Paws Inn, the safety and well-being of every furry friend in our care are paramount. That’s why we maintain strict vaccination protocols to ensure a healthy environment for all. We kindly remind all pet parents that prior to joining our camp, all dogs must be up to date on essential vaccinations, including bordetella, distemper, lepto, and rabies—no exceptions. Additionally, as part of our commitment to outdoor adventures, flea & tick/heartworm preventative is mandatory. To streamline the process and ensure compliance with these vital health measures, we kindly request that all new campers provide vet records prior to their first day at FPI.

Cancellation

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly, and we strive to accommodate our clients while also ensuring the smooth operation of our camp. Therefore, we kindly request that all camp reservations be canceled within 48 hours of booking to avoid any charges. In adherence to this policy, a fee equal to a full day of camp will be charged for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance. To uphold this commitment, we may require a deposit to be on file at the time of reservation. Your understanding and cooperation allow us to maintain the highest standards of service for all our beloved campers.
