Giving Back

In 2023, Four Paws Inn proudly hosted “Peace, Love & Pitties,” a vibrant music festival and fundraising event for Jersey Pits Rescue. The event featured live music by BryanBreathes and welcomed ten local vendors, who showcased their work with proceeds benefiting JPR. Guests enjoyed treats from Cream Of The Crop ice cream truck and a pizza tent while mingling and celebrating the cause. We were delighted to see JPR alumni and FPI clients join us for this fun-filled, four-hour event. Thanks to the generous support of our community, we reached beyond their goal to aid in medical expenses for the rescue.

What We Do
Four Paws Inn has fostered 6 JPR dogs. Some 8 week old puppies ready to leave their mom and build social skills, and others young adults with behavioral issues or severely abused and broken down. We assist in screening adoption applications for folks interested in adopting while attending events and keeping up with fosters. Samantha offers her training insight and knowledge through evaluating some of the more troubled dogs whose lives were saved from the local shelter and provides guidance for families who are struggling in getting their newly adopted rescue settled into their new home.

To this day, Four Paws Inn maintains a strong partnership with Jersey Pits Rescue, committed to supporting every dog that comes into JPR’s care. Children on the Green is a licensed, non-profit child care center dedicated to providing quality, developmentally appropriate care and early education for children of families living or working in the Morristown area. Committed to reflecting the diversity of the community, the center fosters partnerships that support all children and families. Four Paws Inn ran a donation drive for Children on the Green, collecting gift cards and presents for families dealing with hardship, helping make a child’s Christmas a little brighter.

The Military Paws Support Program significantly boosts the morale and welfare of troops worldwide by supplying essential dog care items for America’s K-9 soldiers and their handlers. These K-9 soldiers work alongside our troops, ensuring their safety and aiding in their missions. During the holiday season, Four Paws Inn honored our brave soldiers and their dedicated K-9 partners by running a donation drive. We collected vital necessities for both humans and dogs and shipped them overseas, ensuring the wellbeing of these hardworking teams and making their holiday feel closer to home.

Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter’s mission is to create a community of individuals and organizations dedicated to saving today’s abused, neglected, and homeless animals while preventing future cases. Four Paws Inn hosted its inaugural Halloween fundraising event at Hedden Park in Randolph, NJ, featuring a special guest, Mt. Pleasant + Conner, a young pitbull searching for his forever home. This event, driven by our passion for promoting adoptable dogs and supporting shelters, successfully raised awareness and funds, with attendees looking festive in their Halloween costumes.
